NOTICE OF MEETING – Tuesday 6 February 2024
The next Meeting of Langworth Group Parish Council will be held at Langworth Memorial Hall at 7.30pm on Tuesday 6 February 2024 at which the business listed in the agenda below will be transacted. The time between 7.30pm and 7.45 pm may be given over to a public session if required, but if no members of the public wish to speak, the meeting will start at 7.30pm. 7. Clerks Report
a) Receive the financial report: as previously circulated
b) Approve any non-regular payments:
i. £30.00 to Memorial Hall for flood meeting on 7 February 2024
ii. £19.99 to C/Cllr I Fleetwood for clip for speed indicator device repair
c) LALC survey – Cllrs to confirm that their emails/phone numbers may be passed to LALC
8. Flooding Matters
a) Note public meeting to be held on 7 February 2024
b) Note WLDC are treating letter re. Fosters Yard as a formal complaint (ref. CF-577550520)
9. Grass cutting
a) No Mow May
b) Note that appointed contractor for 2024 cannot offer a 3-year agreement
10. Speed cameras:
a) LRSP response re speeding, driving through red lights, police van presence
b) Consider relocation of one speed indicator device
11. Request from Memorial Hall Committee to put up signs at Parish Boundaries advertising activities.
12. Date of the next meeting: Tuesday 5th March 2024, 7.30pm, Memorial Hall
