12.0 Open Forum

12.1 The meeting was advertised on the council's website and all four notice boards. No members of the public made a request to join the meeting. Those wishing to do so should email the clerk who will send joining instructions 15 minutes before the meeting begins. Further details on the website.

15.0 To confirm the Minutes of the Meeting held on 3 March 2020

15.1 The minutes of the ordinary meeting held on 3 March 2020 were approved as a true as a true record of the meeting. Proposed: PB, Seconded: JM. Vote- unanimOL Clerk to publish on the website and provide a summary for publication in the Langworth Local.

16.0 Matters arising from the previous meeting.

16.1

a) Proposed Speed Indicator Sign (SID). Correspondence has been received from Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) to indicate there is a possibility that the speed limit at Station Road may be reduced from 40mph to 30mph. It this is the case then a SID sign may not  be necessary. LCC have been asked for further information.

b) Langworth Flooding risks. County Councillor Fleetwood stated in an e-mail that he has had a number of meetings including one with the local MP and has spoken about the issue at the Lincolnshire Flood and Drainage Committee, and also the Regional Flood Defence Committee of the Environment Agency. He has also spoken with various representatives of Anglian Water Services. The current situation is that there is an on-going investigation by Anglian Water Services. He has not been notified of any outcomes or any suggested completion date for this investigation.

17.0 Clerks Report

a) The financial report for the period 1 April 2020 to 31 May 2020, as appended below, was circulated to members prior to the meeting.

b) Approval of payments. The payments as listed in the financial report was approved by Members.

18.0 Planning

18.1 Application 149905, No comments

Application 140695 has been removed from the WLDC planning portal. No comment.

19.0 Chairman's comments

19.1 The chairman invited Cllr Hill to speak about the planning application for additional caravans at Barlings Lane. The application was approved by WLDC. Cllr Hill voted against it.
